Motorists want to fly over Anna Arch

The ever increasing traffic snarls at the junction of Anna Nagar 3rd Avenue and Poonamallee High Road gives motorists a feeling of just flying over the chaotic spot, that’s on a flyover of course and there is not going to be any magic trick. Coming down to ground reality, there is quite amount of progress made in the construction of the flyover which aims of decongesting the Anna Arch and Nelson Manickam Road traffic signal junctions.

At present pillar and first phase of the flyover structure work is going on at Anna Nagar 3rd Avenue, Poonamallee High Road and at Nelson Manickam Road. Buildings near the main road have been demolished for drainage work, service lanes and road widening work. Until the flyover gets completed, motorists have to witness traffic pileup at Anna Arch signal junction. Anna Nagar area residents want the Anna Arch and Thirumangalam flyover construction work to gain speedy progress.
